An oil sensor consists of a flange, an outer tube, a float, a circuit board, a bottom cover and a wiring harness assembly. The upper end of the flange can be fitted with a wire harness assembly and the lower end is welded to the top end of the outer tube. The float with internal magnetic steel is penetrated through the outer tube and can float up and down with the oil level. Inside the outer tube, there is a built-in circuit board, and a number of resistors and reed pipes are welded on the circuit board. The top of the circuit board is welded through the flange plate and the wire harness assembly. The bottom end of the outer tube is sealed by the welding bottom cover, and the bottom cover can be connected with a fixed shaft or a spring. The flange is molded by the die casting process and has large area of the contact surface of the outer tube, which reduces the difficulty of welding and enhances the firmness and impact resistance of the joint. The fixed shaft or spring can withstand the bottom of the fuel tank to prevent the oil sensor swaying when the vehicle swaying. The wire harness assembly ensures that the sealing effect can be achieved at high and low temperatures.
