Photoelectric conversion element (10) has: a pair of electrodes, consisting of first electrodes (11) and second electrodes (15); and organic semiconductors (13), which receive light to produce electromotive force, having: first insulators (12), having first electrostatic capacity (C1) and setting to contact with first electrodes (11); and second insulator (14), which have less than refuse. The second electrostatic capacity (C2) of the edge body (12) is set up to contact with the second electrode (15), and the organic semiconductor (13) is between first insulators (12) and second insulators (14) and is in contact with them. According to the structure, the first insulator (12) has a larger first electrostatic capacity (C1), so it can arouse the polarization of the organic semiconductor layer and increase the polarization current. Second the insulator (14) has a smaller second electrostatic capacity (C2), and the responsiveness is improved. Therefore, compared with the current, the current intensity and the response speed can be improved.
