The invention discloses a novel multi tooth mono phenoxy zinc complex and a preparation method thereof and an application in the lactone ring opening polymerization. The preparation method comprises the following steps: the ligand L is reacted with Zn [N (SiMe3) 2] 2 or ZnEt2, and then the target product is collected from the reaction product. The invention described zinc complexes containing asymmetric polydentate monophenoxy ligand is an effective lactone ring opening polymerization catalyst which can be used for ring opening polymerization of caprolactone, lactide, etc., when the catalytic RAC - lactide ring opening polymerization, can be isotactic polymer. The advantages of the invention is that the raw material is easy to obtain, the synthesis route is simple, the separation and purification are easy, the property is relatively stable, and the catalyst has high catalytic activity. The obtained polycaprolactone has higher molecular weight and narrower molecular weight distribution (PDI = 1.07), which can meet the needs of the industrial sector.
