The invention relates to a method for improving the performance of an air conditioning compressor, comprising injecting refrigerant oil in an air conditioning compressor with R22 as refrigerant, wherein the refrigerant oil uses a low kinematic viscosity mineral oil. Compared with the prior art, the invention greatly improves the energy efficiency ratio of the compressor, the ratio of the COP and the refrigerating capacity.
