冶炼工艺在生产过程中产生的烟气中含有60%-80%的CO即转炉煤气,煤气冷却器的作用是在转炉煤气静电除尘器后对合格的转炉煤气进行洗涤和降温,将转炉煤气温度由100℃~150℃降到70℃以下后排入煤气柜。现有煤气冷却器结构如图1所示:包括冷却器主体,冷却器主体内自下而上依次设置有下层水箱、喷淋装置、煤气收集罩和上层水箱,下层水箱上连接有排水管,排水管上设置有排水阀组;此外还包括煤气输入管、煤气输出管和配水管路。高温煤气从煤气输入管输入到冷却器主体内后上升,喷淋装置喷水对高温煤气进行降温和洗涤,降温后的煤气通过煤气收集罩收集并通过煤气输出管排出。处理过煤气的热水收集在下层水箱内,收集一定量后通过排水管排到热水池里。现有煤气冷却器的缺点是:(1)排水阀组位于冷却器主体内下层水箱下方,工作环境较差,加上观察和检修比较困难,容易出现故障。排水阀组故障后,下层水箱收集的热水无法排出,导致液位上升,充满整个冷却器主体,造成煤气冷却器损坏。(2)降温洗涤后的煤气内含水量较大,质量较差。
