低压铸造技术是实现铸件少余量、无余量加工的重要措施,同时也是汽车铸件精密化、薄壁化、轻量化和节能化的重要手段。90年代后期世界各国对铸件要求越来越高,铸件的精密化、薄壁化、轻量化和省力化已成为铸造技术发展的主攻方向,低压铸造技术恰巧能够满足上述要求。但目前低压铸造在设备、模具、工艺和自动化方面尚需进一步改进和提高。低压铸造的最基本特征是金属液在坩埚内由下而上充填铸型,升液管截面积都比较大,金属液流量大,但流速不高。一般升液管内金属液上升速度为0.05~0.2m/s,流动非常平稳,且金属液前锋的氧化膜不断破裂趋向升液管管壁,铸件内极少气孔和夹渣。对比压铸充型,在活塞挤压筒内,活塞以1~2m/s速度将合金液推进,充满挤压筒后,以极快速度增压,又由于内浇口截面积小,造成内浇道处射速高达20~50m/s,因此更显得低压铸造充型的平稳性。由于低压铸造铸件内没有气泡,这种铸件可以用热处理方法大幅度提高铸件材质的力学性能,这一基本特点在未来的低压铸造设备中将得到充分保证和发展。低压铸造过程中,根据铸件壁厚、合金牌号和铸型情况,在液面加压参数中一般都要建立升液→充型→结壳(仅砂型)→升压→保压→卸压几个阶段参数,以保证充型平稳、排气顺畅和在尽可能大的压头下凝固结晶。这种工艺的需要,目前在设备上还不可能完全得到保证,这是在未来需要进一步改善和确保的。铸造熔炼时,先变质,后精炼除气,一般除气用六氯乙烷,但会产生刺激性气味,而且易污染环境。通常精炼都是开放的空间下操作, ...
