The invention also relates to the use of a farnesol X receptor agonist combined with a kappa opioid receptor agonist in the preparation of drugs for treating portal hypertension, cholestatic liver disease, primary biliary cirrhosis, biliary acid diarrhea or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
