The present invention relates to an analytical method for algae polyphosphate, which includes the following steps: providing a mixture of polyphosphate, adding disodium hydrogen phosphate, dissolving in solvent, diluting to the test concentration, and obtaining the first test sample; using P_NMR to analyze the first test sample, obtaining quantitative data of polyphosphate, and in polyphosphate. The mixture of salt was added with sodium trimetaphosphate with the same content as the quantitative data of polyphosphate, dissolved in solvent and diluted to the test concentration to obtain the second sample to be tested. The qualitative data of polyphosphate were obtained by using P_NMR analysis of the second sample to be tested. More precise quantitative data were obtained by selecting disodium hydrogen phosphate as the internal standard, and sodium trimetaphosphate as the internal standard could distinguish the types of polyphosphate.
