The benzothiazole compound probe of the invention reacts with HBrO to form a cyclic thioimide bond, which enhances the conjugation degree of the reaction system, makes the fluorescence intensity of the reaction system red shift 137 nm, and the fluorescence intensity ratio changes 234 times. The probe can selectively recognize hypobromic acid without interference from other active oxygen species and metal ions. In addition, the probe has the advantages of short response time and high sensitivity for the detection of HBrO, and can be used for the determination of hypobromic acid content. Secondly, the influence of pH value on the determination of HBrO by fluorescence probe was studied. The fluorescence intensity ratio (I580/I447) of the probe blank solution and HBrO was almost unchanged with the change of pH in the range of 2.0 12.0, indicating that pH had little effect on the fluorescence intensity ratio. In addition, when HBrO is not added to the probe, the blue channel of the cell emits stronger light, while the red channel emits weaker light, and the fluorescence can hardly be seen. When HBrO was added, the blue channel decreased and the red channel enhanced.
