旋转变压器(简称“旋变”)作为位置传感器的一种，因其可以在恶劣的环境条件下工作：如机械振动、高转速、高角加速度和要求无噪音、以及易燃、易爆、高低温(-40～155℃)等条件，并且具有高精度、高可靠性、结构简单紧凑、成本低廉等优势，广泛用于动力电机的位置传感器，用于检测电机转子的角度和转速。动力电机上使用的旋转变压器常见为磁阻式旋转变压器，表现为：所有信号线绕制在定子上，转子上不布置绕组。其结构上主要由矽钢片压制的转子，矽钢片压制的定子及安装或注塑在其上的绝缘骨架，绕制在绝缘骨架上的绕组，以及传输信号的信号线束及插头组成。现有技术中，旋转变压器上有的信号线束包括多根信号线，每根信号线有指定分配的功能，绕组与线束连接，实现线号的输入和输出。绕组与信号线的连接通常通过分别与接线柱焊接建立连接关系，目前设计的结构和对应的焊接方法主要有锡焊(波峰焊接)和氩弧焊。存在焊接质量不良且存在环保问题，或者是焊接时存在飞屑损伤绕组且设备投资大；另外对于耐更高温度的漆包线，漆皮难以破坏，以上焊接方式无法保证焊接质量。
