The invention discloses the preparation and application of a calcium carbonate/calcium alginate composite microcapsule based on PEG/Dex aqueous two-phase. Composite microcapsules were synthesized by using aqueous two-phase (dextran/polyethylene glycol) droplets as templates. The composite microcapsules have good monodispersity, and the particle size can be accurately controlled from several microns to several millimeters. The microcapsule is a hollow structure. The wall of the microcapsule is double-layered. The thickness of the microcapsule wall is controllable (about 1/50-1/4 of the diameter of the microcapsule). The inner part of the microcapsule is dense calcium carbonate layer and the outer part is calcium alginate layer. Compared with the pure calcium alginate microcapsules, the microcapsules have good mechanical strength and compact wall structure, avoiding the breakage of the shear force on the capsule, and restraining the leakage of the contents. The microcapsule can be used to construct a low leakage drug delivery system, as well as to prepare immobilized enzyme carriers which have many recycling times, long storage time and are not easy to swell. The invention expands the application of calcium alginate microcapsules in the fields of biomedicine, food industry, daily chemical industry and enzyme engineering.
