The present invention belongs to the field of biological technology, and relates to a kit and method for rapid detection of the accumulation of carcinogenic metabolite of cancer tissue 2 hydroxyglutaric acid 2 HG. The kit contains reagents and standard products and derivatization reagents for detecting 2 HG; or the kit contains specific antibodies of 2 HG. Using the kit, the sample of the tumor tissue was placed in the centrifuge tube with pre cooled pure methanol. The homogenizer was centrifuged 14000 RPM after grinding and transferred to the glass bottle. After the vacuum drying centrifuge was fully dried, the centrifuge was fully dried and added to the derivatization reagent MTBSTFA, the room temperature was placed at 70, the room temperature was cooled, the Agilent 7890A 5975C was used. The chromatographic column was HP 5MS and the carrier gas was high purity helium. The NIST database search and standard product verification were combined to identify 2 HG.
