放电管是石化、冶金、玻璃、陶瓷等行业燃气燃油点火器装置的核心器件。目前点火器配置的放电管有两种，一种是玻璃外罩的真空放电管，另一种是生产厂家自制的放电管。现有技术中，已有的放电管存在多种缺点，具体如下：1)点火效率低，放点能量小，可靠性差。2)由于放电端的金属材料耐温低，易氧化损坏，因此使用寿命短，一般放电次数只有两万次。3)不能连续打火，一般每次打火时间在60s以内，如时间长，产生的高温会使放电管变形损坏，在有些工况要求较长时间打火，就不能使用。点火器种类多，各种点火器放电要求的条件不一样，由于目前生产的放电管是固定参数，不能调整，要根据点火器来选用或自制，很不方便。
