导光板是一种将线光源转变为面光源的产品，在其入光面设置LED光源，通过导光板表面的微结构将光源扩散形成面光源，一般的导光板与LED光源为两个独立包装的个体，在装配时先将LED光源装载到终端上，然后再安装导光板，这种形式的导光板采用双面整体覆膜包装。然而随着技术的发展，超薄超小型的电子产品越来越多，这就使得一些安装区域无法实现两者分离式安装，这就要求导光板与LED光源粘为一体，然而现有的导光板以及LED光源分别为两个厂家，因此LED光源需购买导光板后进行二次粘接。由于原先的导光板上是采用双面整体覆膜，二次粘接就需要破坏表面覆膜，粘接后再进行覆膜，非常繁琐，针对这种情况，现在最常见的做法就是导光板厂家覆膜时，缩小上膜尺寸，增大底膜尺寸，由人工将入光侧的底膜回折到上膜上(如图1所示)，从而实现二次加工，但这种形式虽然可以解决二次加工破坏覆膜的问题，但人工回折增加了工序繁琐性，使得加工效率低，而且人工回折增加了接触导光板的次数，从而增加了不良率。
