中国专利申请号201120194579.1公开了一种“卷帘门窗帘片”，由帘片本体、上钩体和下钩体构成，帘片本体为带有中空的扁平弧形体，下钩体为扁平弧形中空体，其外表面和内表面与帘片本体的外表面和内表面连为一体，厚度与帘片本体相当，下钩体上端的隔档将帘片本体的中空体与下钩体的中空体隔开，下钩体下部为开放式结构，靠内一侧有用于与上钩体啮合的向上的钩，上钩体由向上延伸体和向下的钩两部分组成，上钩体位于帘片本体的上部，向上延伸体、向下的钩均与帘片本体连为一体，向上延伸体上有开孔。目前用于商铺或橱窗展示的卷帘门窗多为在普通铝合金玻璃门外另加装不锈钢隔栅门，两个门成本较高，其缺点是安装占用商铺空间较大，不锈钢隔栅门竖向连接片薄，节点多，横向圆管细，防盗效果不佳。还有一些是采用水晶卷帘门，其缺点也是水晶片易变色发黄，其结构强度更差、安全性无保障，五年以后基本难以在用，造成资源浪费。现在通常使用的隔栅式的卷帘门不但强度差，安全性能不好，而且由于不封闭，会导致卫生状况比较差。
