The invention discloses a mobile phone and a keystroke detecting device thereof. The handset includes at least two buttons, a baseband chip, a resistor, and at least two switching elements. The baseband chip includes at least two first ports, at least two second ports, and an interrupt port. Each first port outputs a first level signal and corresponds to one end of a button, and each of the second ports outputs second level signals and is connected to the other end of the button. One end of the resistor is connected to the interrupt port, and the other end is connected to the reference level. One end of each switch element is connected between a first port and a corresponding key, and the other end is connected between the interrupted port and the resistor. The switching element is conducted under the action of the first level signal and the reference level, and is cut off under the action of the second level signal and the reference level. In this way, the mobile phone and the button detecting device of the invention can support the detection of two or more keys pressed at the same time in the mobile phone keyboard.
