The invention relates to an access device and a method of obtaining a notification on the access device. The method enables notification of a call error associated with an access device including a first access network and a second access network communication system. The first access network includes an access device and an application server that also includes a media storage device that stores notifications related to call errors. The method comprises the following steps: finding the call error; error is generated according to the call request message, wherein the request message includes the media storage device identifier, and contains relevant information and call error; sent to the application server the request message; and, with the call error related notice from the storage media equipment.
