An image correction method, wherein, acquiring the first characteristic point of the first character in the subject image: acquiring the second characteristic point of the standard character corresponding to the first character; calculating the transformation matrix according to the first characteristic point and the second characteristic point; correcting the subject image according to the transformation matrix. Through the technical scheme, the terminal can calculate the transformation matrix based on the original scale of the characters according to the geometric projection relationship of the feature points, so as to obtain the correction image which is basically consistent with the real scale of the original image.
