一种音频的输入输出方法和终端设备，能够实现终端设备自动确定音频输入/输出的方式。所述终端设备支持骨传导模式和空气传导模式进行音频的输入/输出，所述方法包括：当所述终端设备需要进行音频业务时，确定所述终端设备是否处于靠近人体头骨的位置；若确定所述终端设备处于靠近人体头骨的位置，采用骨传导模式进行音频的输入/输出。
