The invention discloses a decentralized data distribution method for distributed heterogeneous storage system, which includes the following steps: 1. Classifying data objects; 2. Classifying storage devices; 3. Dividing storage data into different \placement group clusters\, each type of storage device corresponds to a class of \placement group clusters\; 4. Calculating whether each data object to be stored should be placed in or not. Proportion of the same type of \placement group cluster\; 5. Determine which \placement group\ the data object to be stored belongs to by using hash algorithm; 6. Store the data object in each \placement group\ into several corresponding storage devices by using the data distribution algorithm of storage system; 7. According to the access characteristics of data object during the operation of the system. Calculate migration threshold and migrate data objects dynamically. The invention has the advantages of maintaining the performance, load balancing and scalability of the storage system, and reducing the number of write operations on the solid-state hard disk.
