An embodiment of the invention relates to a communication method. Including: UE receives information of one or more backpass links broadcast by different micro base stations. UE selects a micro base station corresponding to the information of the backpass link that satisfies the preset condition. When the selected micro base station is active, the UE is connected to the selected micro base station. When the selected micro base station is a non active state, the UE sends an activation signal to the selected micro base station, and after the micro base station is activated, the UE is connected to the selected micro base station. Through an embodiment of the invention, a reasonable use of a return link can be realized.
