日常生活中经常会用到调味瓶，如：食用盐、味精、白砂糖、胡椒粉等，需要用调味瓶进行装瓶存放。现有的调味瓶，通过设计瓶盖为两种不同形状的开口，一半为多个圆形小孔开口，另一半为大的开口；故而需要设计第一瓶盖封装多个圆形小孔开口，第二瓶盖封装大开口。大开口端用以供勺子伸进瓶内进行量取调味料；而圆形小孔开口端则只需将瓶子倾斜，调味料即可从圆形小孔中倒出，这种开口适合需用量少时对食物进行调味。然而，上述结构的调味瓶，由于瓶盖和瓶身之间不具有任何的间隔物，当打开第一瓶盖，供调味料从多个圆形小孔倒出时，也会有调味料从大开口倒出直接与第二瓶盖接触，反之亦然。经过长时间的使用，由于调味料与空气接触久后会吸收空气中的水分，从而容易粘附在第一瓶盖或第二瓶盖上，腐蚀瓶盖。
