The invention relates to a method for producing a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon sulfonate polymer concrete water reducing agent, relating to the production process of a chemical product, in particular to a production process of a concrete water reducing agent. The present invention uses anthracene residue and concentrated sulfuric acid as raw materials and is prepared by sulfonation, hydrolysis, condensation and neutralization. Wherein, the sulfonation temperature is 70~120 DEG C. The process of sulfonation with concentrated sulfuric acid will not lead to the phenomenon of anthracene coking, which can increase the yield of sulfonated products and increase the yield of products. The process is easy to control, convenient to operate, energy saving and production cost saving. More importantly, the present invention uses the low cost raw material, anthracene residue, which can only be used as fuel, as a production source material, thereby improving the utilization value of the resources and reducing the economic cost of production remarkably.
