The invention relates to a three-dimensional flake BiOI photocatalytic material with macro frame and its preparation and application. The preparation mainly comprises (1) dissolving the structure guiding agent polyvinylpyrrolidone and bismuth source in an organic solvent under the condition of 26~28 C; adding iodine source under violent agitation and stirring the 10~60 min; (2) step (1) the clarified solution is transferred into the stainless steel high pressure reactor and the organic solvent is adjusted and filled at 60%~80%, 140~180 C, and the crystallization reaction 9~24 h; (3) cooling to the room temperature, filtering the solid products, after the full washing of the products at 50~90, and drying 8~24 H. The prepared three-dimensional BiOI photocatalytic material with macro frame can be used as a photocatalyst and catalyst carrier for the degradation of organic dyes, and the heterogeneous structure of photocatalytic materials can be formed by loading precious metals. The micrometer scale of the invention has a good crystallinity of the three-dimensional slice structure BiOI, which has large surface area and porosity, which is beneficial to the improvement of the activity and the increase of mass transfer rate.
