A remote sense voltage stabilized power supply system is disclosed. The power supply includes a controllable output power supply having a control input terminal. The output of the power supply is related to the voltage signal applied to the control input. The power cord connects the electrical load to the power output terminal of the power supply. The pressure sensitive element is connected to at least one power line near the electrical load. A buffer circuit is connected between the pressure sensitive element and the control input. In one embodiment, the snubber circuit includes a high impedance voltage comparator that is disposed near the power source and an input terminal connected to the electrical sensing element. The voltage reading line extends from the pressure-sensitive element to the voltage comparator.
