挤出机在塑料加工中应用十分广泛，挤出机的混炼性能对塑料制品的质量起到关键作用。现有有两种挤出机，分别是往复式单螺杆挤出机和单螺杆挤出机。相同的尺寸和操作条件下，往复式单螺杆挤出机的分布混合性能高于单螺杆挤出机，单螺杆挤出机内的剪切水平高于往复式单螺杆挤出机，即往复式单螺杆销钉挤出机的分布混合性能好，而单螺杆挤出机的分散性能好。然而，目前，却不能得到分布混合性能和分散性能都好的挤出机。即现有的挤出机无法同时满足分布混合性能和分散性能。现有的挤出机原理是胶料进入挤出机后，螺杆推送胶料迁移使胶料与销钉发生摩擦剪切生热使胶料温度升高而塑化，销钉冷喂料挤出机的缺点是摩擦剪切生热量较大，特别是在螺杆转速较高时，挤出机吐胶温度难以控制在105℃以下，因此限制了挤出机的转速，从而吐胶量达不到额定吐胶量。
