本发明专利技术实施例提供了一种通信方法、基站和终端设备,该方法包括:基站通过n组端口向终端设备发送信号,n组端口中的每组端口包括至少两个端口,n为大于或等于2的正整数;基站接收终端设备发送的s组第一线性组合系数,其中,每组第一线性组合系数为s组端口中的一组端口的第一线性组合系数,至少一组第一线性组合系数中包括至少两个非零系数,s组第一线性组合系数用于确定第一预编码矩阵,s组端口包含于n组端口,s为小于或等于n的正整数,s为大于或等于2的正整数。本发明专利技术实施例中,通过向基站发送s组第一线性组合系数,能够提高终端设备的信道反馈精度,进而有利于提高基站与终端设备之间的传输性能。
