The invention discloses a method for improving germination rate of Stevia rebaudiana seeds. The specific steps are as follows: selecting full and healthy seeds of Stevia rebaudiana with the same size and reserve them; sterilizing them with 10% sodium hypochlorite solution for 5-15 minutes, rinsing them with distilled water for many times and filtering them dry; preparing salicylic acid of different concentration for pretreatment of Stevia rebaudiana seeds; extracting salicylic acid of different concentration at least 3. The seeds of Stevia rebaudiana were soaked by adding the same amount of disinfected seeds. After soaking, the seeds were washed with distilled water for 3-5 times, and the germination test was carried out by Petri dish filter paper method. The germination indexes were determined and recorded from the day when the seeds of Stevia rebaudiana were placed in bed. The germination situation of the seeds of Stevia rebaudiana was compared. The method of improving the germination rate of Stevia seeds adopted by the invention has the advantages of convenience, high efficiency, non-toxicity, no residue and low cost, high economic benefit, convenient agricultural production, and broad application prospects in modern high-efficiency agricultural production.
