部分大功率变频器因密闭安装,不具备强制风冷的条件,往往采用水冷方式降温,水冷过程包括循环水泵、换热器和管路接头等部件,因此始终存在极微小的泄漏或渗漏,泄漏是指部分冷却水在长期的循环过程中减少了,泄漏的后果是冷却水少了,散热效果差;渗漏是指部分空气由于水泵吸力的原因跑进循环管路中,渗漏的后果是水泵由于吸入空气造成水泵出口无水,进而造成散热效果差,两种情况的最终结果都将使得变频器因过热而故障,现有设计中一般以手动补水为主,通过安装在循环水泵1进口的三通阀2连接临时补水箱3进行手动补水,如图2所示,上述补水过程中由于增加了三通阀2,增加了管路部件,也增加了渗漏、泄漏的风险,另外,由于补水过程不可见,是否真正补水到位无法检测,补水过程经常出现反冒水或者吸入空气的情况,造成补水困难,效果不佳,因此解决上述问题对于变频器的稳定运行有直接帮助。
