近些年,我国光伏产业发展迅速,在干旱、半干旱地区,尤其是干旱沙漠、戈壁地区。由于光伏板板面均朝南倾斜设置,西北风扬沙及风尘很容易飘落在光伏板板面,严重影响光伏发电。甘肃河西走廊被称为“光伏三峡”。据我们调查截止2016年底,甘肃河西走廊已在沙漠、戈壁中建立了18个光伏产业园区,光伏发电装机容量达到了422.4万千瓦,年发电量达35.261亿度。一般单个光伏板的长1.66m~1.96m,多以1.96m规格为主,宽均为1.0m,在安装时根据光伏板瓦数规格来设计一个支路的光伏板数量,一般一个支路以6~10千瓦为宜,设计一个支路的光伏板大多为40片左右,分两排东西向安装,简称“一个支路光伏板组”,则一个支路光伏板组的总长度一般为20m,水平宽度约3.2m;光伏板组后沿距地面高度一般在295~315㎝,前沿距地面30~50㎝,光伏板组与地面倾角37°。由于光伏板组表面经常性的积尘,每刮一场风几乎都有明显的扬沙积尘现象,而沙漠、戈壁区本来就极端干旱少雨、风大沙多,有言到“一年只刮一场风,从春一直刮到冬”。因此,依靠自然降雨来洗涤清洁光伏板表面的积尘是天方夜谭,实际中需要人工经常性的驾驶装载有高压喷枪装置的水车来冲洗。目前,仅甘肃河西走廊的沙漠、戈壁光伏基地已占地面积达1.3万平方公里,在干旱区依靠水车喷洗光伏板积尘不仅浪费大量水资源,而且成本相当高,已让光伏企业苦不堪言。
