目前已有的3D打印喷头的耗材是由不锈钢通孔导入,如固定座中空设有导入耗材的不锈钢通孔,3D打印耗材通过这个不锈钢通孔导入后,进入到经过加热的喷嘴后熔化成胶状物。为了达到良好的散热效果,一般3D打印设备中都配置有风扇装置,后来随着技术的发展,为了减轻笔的重量、缩小笔的尺寸、消除风扇带来的噪音,3D打印设备中逐渐采用集成散热片的散热方式替代了风扇散热方式,一般散热片设置在加热喷嘴周围如固定在固定座上,以取得了较好的散热效果。但与此同时,由于加热部位存在热量传导,加之散热片部位扩大了热传导范围,容易造成耗材在不锈钢通孔内就开始胀管,而由于不锈钢材质的通孔腔体,形变系数小,内壁粗糙度大,极易导致耗材在不锈钢通孔的腔体内堵塞。这种喷头的设计不能使用PLA等材质的耗材,严重限制了3D打印的耗材选择范围。
