]目前在建筑工程桩基础施工中，把各种桩从地基中拔出占很大的施工比例，其中尤以沉管灌注桩护筒拔出的施工工法为主。沉管灌注桩以施工成本低、效率高、质量可靠而得到广泛应用。现有沉管灌注桩施工工法一般都离不开护壁用的护筒，它是通过悬挂在打桩架上的打击式锤，如柴油锤、液压冲击锤、自落锤等，将端部带活动封口的护筒打入地基，然后在护筒内灌入混凝土或其它材料，再通过打桩架平台上的卷扬机、定滑轮组的钢丝绳，从打桩架桅杆顶部将护筒拔出，然后再插入钢筋笼。由于护筒与地基土层间摩擦力很大，一般拔出护筒所需拉力(简称拔管力)达百吨，甚至达数百吨，而所有这些力由打桩架的桅杆承担，最终传递到打桩架平台上安装于打桩架平台。打桩架桅杆高度一般都在几十米，要承受如此巨大的拔管力，桅杆必须具有足够的强度和刚度，这样桅杆要制造得很大、很重，不仅增加了设备成本、运输成本，对打桩架的稳定性就带来了很多隐患，安全性得不到很好保证。[
