The invention provides a complete non causal predictive signal coding method and decoding method, relating to the coding field of images, videos and other signals. The existing non causal image coding and decoding method is too high in calculation, and the non causal image coding and decoding method provided by the invention greatly reduces the amount of calculation. Signal encoding method provided by the invention comprises the steps of: (1) the original signal is divided into a plurality of non causal encoding unit; (2) using the extended method extends all non causal encoding unit; (3) the non causal encoding unit of each extension, prediction encoding method using unit non causal predictor and non causal encoding unit, respectively.
