The device for generating a single photon includes a waveguide; a resonant cavity is located above the waveguide; a thermosensitive polymer is located above the waveguide with the resonant cavity; and the thermosensitive polymer is hydrophilic when the temperature threshold is less than or no less than the temperature threshold. It is hydrophobic. The device used to generate single photon is simple in structure and easy to manufacture, which simplifies the fabrication process of the device used to generate single photon.
