辨识条形码影像的方法及其系统技术方案

一种辨识条形码影像的方法及其系统，用以改善手持式计算机装置辨识条形码的速度。此一方法先以手持式计算机装置的影像撷取模块摄取含有条形码图像的目标画面（ｆｒａｍｅ），以获取目标画面中的条形码图像。接着手持式计算机装置以其无线通讯接口将条形码图像及其辨识请求讯息通过无线通讯网络发送至一辨识服务器。辨识服务器载有支持多类型条形码的条形码辨识程序，且可与无线通讯网络联机而接收条形码图像及辨识请求讯息。通过辨识服务器的辨识程序，辨识服务器对条形码图像进行辨识，并将辨识结果通过无线通讯网络发送回手持式计算机装置。最后，手持式计算机装置接收前述的辨识结果之后，即可将辨识结果显示于一显示器。

Method and system for identifying bar code image

A method for identifying bar code images and a system thereof for improving the speed of a hand held computer device for identifying bar codes. In this method, the target image (frame) containing barcode image is firstly extracted by the image capture module of a handheld computer device to obtain the bar code image in the target picture. Then, the handheld computer device transmits the bar code image and its identification request message through a wireless communication network to an identification server with its wireless communication interface. The identification server has a bar code identification program supporting a plurality of type bar codes, and can be connected with the wireless communication network to receive the bar code image and identify the request message. The identification program identification server, server identification to identify the barcode image, and the identification results are transmitted through the wireless communication network back to computer device. Finally, after the handheld computer device receives the aforementioned identification results, the identification results can be displayed on a display.
