The invention relates to a printer, a method and a system for ease of printing without drive. The disclosed embodiments provide a printer that is easy to drive without printing. The printer includes a discovery component configured to communicate with the client so that the client selects the printer. The discovery unit is also configured to provide the client with performance information about the printer. The printer also includes a transmission section configured to receive the printer data from the client, and a page description language component configured to print the received printer data from the client.
