本发明专利技术涉及ＩＭＳ技术领域，尤其涉及会话控制器的容灾技术，公开了一种会话控制方法及设备，用以解决用户绑定的会话控制器出现故障时，导致ＵＥ不能及时重注册或会话无法接续的问题。在用户初始化注册流程中，将用户绑定的Ｐ－ＣＳＣＦ的地址信息存储到ＨＳＳ中，从而在用户被呼叫时，可用的Ｓ－ＣＳＣＦ能够从ＨＳＳ中获得被叫用户绑定的Ｐ－ＣＳＣＦ的地址信息，并根据Ｐ－ＣＳＣＦ地址信息通知用户重新初始化注册，或者实现会话接续；更进一步，将用户的地址信息存储到Ｄ－ＨＳＳ中，从而在用户被呼叫时，可用的Ａ－ＣＳＣＦ能够从Ｄ－ＨＳＳ中获得被叫用户的地址信息，并根据被叫用户的地址信息通知用户重新初始化注册，或者实现会话接续。
