水表是目前国内外用于自来水计量的最主要的计量仪表。在大口径自来水管网中,由于 所配置的大口径水表测量范围的局限性,当用水低峰流量较小时常有水表明显走慢甚至不走 的现象,因而难以实现准确计量。为改善上述现象,目前国内外部分厂家研制了具有较宽量程的大口径c级水表和复式水表。C级水表的量程比目前最常用的B级水表有了一定的提高,但还远不能满足流量范围波 动大的场合的计量要求。目前国内外各厂家研制的复式水表均由主、副表、流量转换阀和壳 体组成,主、副表均具有各自的独立流道。主表的口径即为复式表的公称口径,其量程比的 大小主要由选用的副表口径决定,副表口径越小,测量范围越宽,即量程比越大,小流量状 态下的计量能力亦越好。然而其转换流量(流量转换阀打开或关闭时的流量)相应的必须减 小,否则将使副表损坏。由于主表小流量区域计量性能的限制,当转换流量过小时,虽流量 转换阀已打开,主表通过的流量亦未能达到使其正常工作的流量值,此时主表具有很大的计 量误差。因而无法将转换流量设置得过小,由此限制了复式水表量程的进一步扩展。同时, 目前国内外的复式水表产品尚不具有水表示值远程传输功能。
