本申请实施例提供一种小区获取方法以及终端，用于用于减少终端功耗。本申请实施例提供的技术方案如下：在终端与当前源服务小区处于连接状态时，所述终端获取所述当前源服务小区的第一质量参数；若所述第一质量参数小于第一预设阈值，则所述终端确定测量小区集合；所述终端对所述测量小区集合中的各测量小区进行测量得到相应的各第二质量参数；所述终端根据所述第二质量参数确定目标服务小区。
