Application of Phytolacca saponin A in lowering blood sugar. The invention establishes a STZ hyperglycemic mouse model and investigates the hypoglycemic effect of Phytolacca saponins on hyperglycemic mice. Phytolacca saponins were intragastrically administered to mice on an empty stomach, and blood sugar was measured by blood glucose meter after tail cutting.
