This application discloses a PON system, OLT and ONU, which relates to the field of optical communication. The PON system includes OLT and at least two ONUs. OLT and at least two ONUs interact with each other through one downlink channel and two upstream channels. OLT transmits downlink data to each ONU through downlink channel, downlink data includes upstream bandwidth authorization, and upstream bandwidth authorization is used to control ONU transmission. Uplink data; ONU receives downlink data through downlink channels; sends upstream data through the first or second upstream channels according to the upstream bandwidth authorization included in downlink data; OLT receives upstream data from each ONU through the first and second upstream channels; where the first upstream channel closes the registration function and the second upstream channel opens the registration function.
