The invention discloses a termite control agent, which includes paper, fipronil, ivermectin, glacial acetic acid, hydroquinone, sucrose, glucose and chitosan. The effective drug in the agent is fipronil. Under low concentration dosage, termites exposed to fipronil rarely die within 1 to 3 days, and termites with toxicity have sufficient time to transmit to other individuals in the colony. With the use of glucose and sucrose, after dissolving the sugar, the components are adhered to the paper by its viscosity to enhance the stability of the active ingredients. Sucrose and glucose have strong attraction to a variety of termites. Chitosan is generally used as a drug sustained release carrier, which can improve the stability of the effective ingredients in the invention, especially to maintain the long-term efficacy of fluorofenac. The dosage of glacial acetic acid and hydroquinone, in which hydroquinone is considered to be the effective ingredient of termite pheromone, and glacial acetic acid makes each component weak acidic when mixed, and can avoid water-soluble photolysis of fipronil under dark conditions.
