The invention discloses a wireless multi-mode gateway system for vehicle networking, which comprises a terminal access section, a network access section and a gateway control section, wherein the network access section enables the devices in the vehicle to access the gateway by wireless means, thereby realizing the communication between the devices in the vehicle, and the network interface section enables the gateway to be connected as a terminal. The gateway control unit can control and realize the communication between the vehicle equipment and the external network. The terminal access part of the invention adopts IEEE802.11g wireless network card module. The network interface part includes 3G module and IEEE802.11g wireless network card module. The wireless multi-mode gateway system of the invention can solve the problems of sharing and accessing the wireless equipment network inside the vehicle by establishing the wireless local area network inside the vehicle and providing the external network access function for the vehicle equipment inside the wireless local area network.
