一种视频监控系统对媒体服务器的研究与实现，主要从二个方面进行研究对系统架构进行重新设计，从媒体分发和媒体存储二个方面进行设计，设计了媒体分发服务器集群和媒体存储服务器集群。通过集群架构中的协同工作，实现了媒体分发和媒体存储的负载均衡，让媒体分发服务器以集群的方式提供媒体分发的服务，利用分布式文件基于Hadoop的分布式文件系统(HDFS)和并行机制(MapReduce)来完成媒体存储服务器集群，基于Hadoop实现分布式储存方式解决媒体数据存储，对视屏监控系统服务器集群架构的总体结构和模块框架之间进行交互流程和通信接口进行了设计和规范。
