电烤箱是目前应用十分广泛的家用食物烘烤设备，其利用烤箱内胆中的发热件通电后产生热辐射，而使内胆中的食物持续受热并慢慢变熟，实现食物的烘烤烹调。但是，传统的电烤箱结构中，为了使食物持续受发热件产生的热辐射作用，发热件通常都装设于电烤箱的内胆中。然而，现有的电烤箱发热件装设方式存在着两个重大的技术缺陷。其一，由于发热件装设于内胆中，在电烤箱工作过程中，食物受热而产生的油脂、水汽等会慢慢蒸发或滴落。油脂粘附在发热件的表面上后会产生高温碳化，导致发热件出现变脏的情况，从而增大了电烤箱在使用后清理的工作量。其二，在电烤箱的内胆中，发热件表面的接触面积较小、温度最高。在油脂粘附在其表面时，发热件表面的高温会使油脂出现高温分解的现象，并产生对人体有害的过氧化气体，污染内胆中的食物。因此，现有的电烤箱结构仍然有待进一步改善。
