The invention of the lead selenide sulfide glass glass, compared with the traditional, covalent selenide glass has more quality and stronger, so it has a longer wavelength infrared cut-off. The introduction of arsenic significantly improved the thermal stability of glass. By adjusting the composition of glass properly, the glass with high thermal stability could be obtained. Even the DSC test showed an amorphous peak. The lead selenide glass of the invention has good glass forming property and simple processing, and has important practical application in many aspects, such as infrared, photoelectron, semiconductor material, etc..
