The screen display method provided in this application includes: the electronic device determines the content category contained in the screen to be displayed; when the content to be displayed in the first category is included, the electronic device reduces the blue light component of the pixels in the area where the content to be displayed in the first category is displayed. This application is applied in the process of displaying screen of electronic equipment.
