The application discloses a core-sheath composite fiber, in which the sheath component is polyamide and the core component is soluble polyester. The tensile viscosity M of polyamide and the tensile viscosity N of soluble polyester in the fiber satisfy the following conditions: at the same temperature above 255 C, M-N is more than 0 Pa.s. The fibers have excellent light weight and excellent washing fastness after dyeing.
