一种处理方法，电子设备可以在处于锁定状态下，检测到作用于指纹传感器的操作，确定指纹传感器采集到的指纹与预设指纹的匹配结果，匹配结果包括：匹配或不匹配，当显示屏的朝向与重力的方向的夹角不在预设范围内时，不执行匹配结果对应的响应；当显示屏的朝向与重力的方向的夹角在预设范围内时，执行匹配结果对应的响应，可避免执行误触指纹传感器的响应，减少电子设备的功耗。
