The invention discloses a preparation method of a compound molybdate hollow microsphere, which comprises the following steps: (1), the solution is dissolved in 20mL water from MCl2 1 to 4mmol, and the solution A is obtained; the molybdate 1 ~ 4mmol is dissolved in 20mL water, and the solution B is obtained; the two are mixed; M indicates Co, Ni, Cu; (2), 10 ~ 40mmol urea dissolves in aqueous solution and added to the solution. The mixture was stirred evenly; (3), the mixture was moved to the reaction kettle, the reaction was 6 ~ 12h at 120~160 C; (4), the pumping and water washing, the vacuum oven drying at 40~60 centigrade; (5) the muffle furnace was calcined 2 ~ 4H at 350~500 C. The compound molybdate hollow microspheres prepared by the invention have high effective contact area and porosity, and the process is simple, the raw material is cheap and easy to be obtained, and the preparation process does not use the surfactant as the structural guide to control the morphology, and the synthetic multi molybdate hollow microspheres are expected to be highly active because of the microstructure characteristics. Catalysts, such as catalytic hydrogenation of ammonia borane, exhibit excellent catalytic activity.
